Why did you choose these books?
This is the same set of books that we used with our children so I am very familiar with the way they work together to provide depth rigor, and excellence. With this combination, your child will have an academically challenging curriculum and will be ready for Algebra I immediately after completing Primary Mathematics 6.
Since students usually take Algebra I in the 8th or 9th grade, that takes the pressure off of finishing a level each year. Many homeschool curriculum companies recommend the textbook and workbook combination only. That is a good set of books as well, but your student will need one or two more years of math before they will be ready to take Algebra I since they have not encountered the more difficult computation or word problems.
