How may we help you?

What level should I register for?

Your first step is to have your child take a placement test. Click here to view the placement tests on the Singapore Math Inc.® website. Often the results of the testing places a student one or two levels lower than their grade level.

There’s no reason to be concerned about that! A student who completes Primary Mathematics 6 using the set of books that the Singapore Math® Live program recommends will be prepared to go directly in to Algebra I.

Students usually take Algebra I in the 8th or 9th grade, so finishing Primary Mathematics 6 in the 7th or 8th grade means you’re right on schedule. Remember that building a solid mathematical foundation for your child is much more important than finishing the levels quickly.

Use all of the books, spend time every day working on math, encourage your child to do an excellent job, They will be well prepared for high school level coursework.
