Dimensions Math 4A

Note: Dimensions Math 4A support is currently being created. On September 1, the first six weeks of recordings were ready to view, and if you follow the SML schedule, the recordings will be ready when you get to each new chapter. If you are working ahead of that schedule, you might have to wait for the next chapter to be posted. The support for the final chapter of Dimensions Math 4A will be posted by Monday, November 22.

Ready for Dimensions Math® 4A?

If you are new to this curriculum, take a placement test to determine the level that is the best fit for you! Here is a link to the placement tests as well as some other information that will be helpful as you determine placement! 

In SML’s support for Dimensions Math® 4A, there are two types of recordings:

The Instruction Recordings (IRs) includes instruction and also some guided learning practice. During the IRs, Students are asked to pause the recording, work some problems on their own, and turn the recording on to check their work. This ensures that students are prepared to complete the assignments in the Textbook and the Workbook.

The Solutions Recordings (SRs) include Textbook Solutions Recordings (TSR) and Workbook Solutions Recordings (WSR). By providing solutions, students can spend less time “stuck” on a problem! After attempting a problem for a reasonable amount of time, the student can view the SRs and watch as Mrs. Barnett models the thinking skills and mathematical concepts required to solve each problem. Because of licensing restrictions, not all of the problems in the books are worked in the SRs but the more complex problems and the word problems are all included!
